Worship at BUC

Worship is a gathering place for members and friends of the church.
People of all ages celebrate the greatness of God through music,
sacrament, and contemplation of scripture. Babies are baptized, people are confirmed, marriage vows are exchanged and holy communion is shared.
Guidance is sought, people are prayed for and thanks are given.
Worship is the centre and centering of our community.

Worship Services
10:00 am every Sunday, all year long.
Sacrament of the Lord's Supper on the first Sunday of each month.
Everyone is welcome to participate regardless of age or denomination.
Join us for coffee/tea in the Main Hall after worship
so we can get to know each other!

Circle Time
At BUC we treasure the participation of our children.
They join the adults for the first part of the worship service, and the little ones participate in their own special "Circle Time" before going
off to their Sunday School classes.

Sunday School
Led by qualified teachers, the Christian education program follows
a well-planned curriculum designed for different age groups from ages 4 to 17.

Nursery Care
To enable parents of very small children (3 years and under) to attend worship services, supervised nursery care is available.

Transportation to Worship Services
For elderly, disabled or other non-driving people, transportation
can be arranged through our Pastoral Care team.

Unable to Attend a Particular Service?
All worship services are recorded and tapes may be borrowed
from the Church Office.

Our Creed
(The creed of the United Church of Canada)
We are not alone, we live in God's world.
  We believe in God:
who has created and is creating,
who has come in Jesus, the Word made flesh,
to reconcile and make us new,
who works in us and others by the Spirit.
 We trust in God.
We are called to be the Church,
        to celebrate God's presence,
to live in respect in creation,
        to love and serve others,
to seek justice and resist evil,
to proclaim Jesus, crucified and risen,
        our Judge and our Hope.
In life, in death, in life beyond death, God is with us.
We are not alone. Thanks be to God.
