Meet Lynette
Wahlstrom Lynette
Wahlstrom, originally from Saskatchewan, received a Bachelor of Music
from
Brandon University in 1991, majoring in oboe performance and music
education.
Following French immersion studies in Trois-Rivières, Lynette came to Montreal to pursue her studies at McGill University where she obtained a Licentiate Diploma in Piano Performance. In 2001, she completed a Master's in Piano Interpretation at l'Université de Montréal under the tutelage of Claude Savard. Lynette Wahlstrom has led the Beaconsfield Adult Choir, Men's Choir, Women's Choir, Children's Choir, and Chancel Band since January, 2003. She is committed to creating music in the church, to presenting music as a means to lead the believer into religious devotion. Through this medium, both professional and amateur musicians work together as a group in congregational ministry. It is her mandate to develop the skills, talents, and gifts of the congregation in a dynamic and fostering environment. ......................................................................................................................................... |
